I don’t use it often, but every once in a while I will cook a recipe that calls for chili sauce. This is my go-to recipe for a quick and easy chili sauce.
Ingredients:
- 1c tomato sauce
- 1/4c brown sugar
- 2tb vinegar
- 1/4 tsp allspice
Method:
- Combine all ingredients in a pot, bring to a boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes for best flavor. But if you are like me and need it for a recipe and don’t have time to waste, it can cook in whatever meal you are making and taste just fine. Also freezes well.
