My husband just loves this sauce, but it is certainly not a diet food!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c salted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2c heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 c real parmesan cheese (not the stuff that comes in the green plastic can – it won’t melt right and will make the sauce gritty)
- 3/4 c mozzarella cheese
Method:
- Melt the butter in a sauce pan over medium heat. Add heavy cream, garlic and white pepper, bring to a simmer. Once simmering, add parmesan cheese and stir frequently for 8-10 minutes. Add mozzarella and cook until thickened, about 3-4 minutes more.
- Toss over pasta of choice – we enjoy it over rotini, linguine or angel hair pasta. Toss in some grilled chicken and cooked broccoli, and you’ve got yourself a one pot meal.
