Ham and Cheese Sliders

These are so, so good!!

  • 24 thin slices of ham, honey ham is best.  Ham sliced as thin as deli ham is perfect. 
  • 6 slices of swiss cheese, cut into fourths
  • 1/3 c mayonnaise
  • 1-1/2 tb Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 c butter, melted
  • 1tb onion powder
  • 1/2 ts Worcestershire sauce
  • 1tb poppy seeds (optional)
  • 24 Hawaiian roll (if making these from scratch for this recipe, you can double the recipe and shape 12 rolls per batch vs. 16


  1. Cut the rolls in half.  Slather mayo on one side, place them all mayo-side up in the bottom of two greased 9×9 casserole dishes, or one large 15×9 casserole dish if you have one. Place a slice of deli ham on each, then a square of swiss cheese.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the butter, mustard, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds if you are using them.  Pour half over each casserole dish, topping each roll.
  4. Cover with foil and let it sit as you preheat your oven to 350F.
  5. Bake about 10 minutes, or until cheese has melted.
  6. Remove foil and enjoy!
