Blackened Chicken

These seasonings work well when rubbed on chicken breast that is quickly seared over high heat on both sides to slightly char the seasonings on the breast.   You can finish cooking the breast if necessary, in a hot oven.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 ts paprika
  • 1/8 ts salt
  • 1/4 cayenne
  • 1/4 ts cumin
  • 1/4 ts thyme
  • 1/8 ts white pepper
  • 1/8 ts onion powder
