{"id":976,"date":"2015-05-11T02:44:46","date_gmt":"2015-05-11T02:44:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.k7farm.com\/blog\/?p=976"},"modified":"2015-05-11T02:59:18","modified_gmt":"2015-05-11T02:59:18","slug":"spring-on-the-farm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.k7farm.com\/blog\/?p=976","title":{"rendered":"Spring on the farm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There is such a difference of life, living out here. \u00a0This is our first year on the farm, away from the city, and life is so different. \u00a0You can really smell the fresh air out here. \u00a0And during the spring, it is such a sweet fragrance. \u00a0I never fully understood what fresh air\u00a0<em>really\u00a0<\/em>smelled like, until I first put clothes on the line out here. \u00a0I thought our line dried clothes smelled good coming in from my city backyard &#8211; I couldn&#8217;t believe the way they smelled once we started hanging them here. \u00a0And the smell sticks around.<\/p>\n<p>Scents trigger memories, and right now I am completely entranced by the smells of spring with a hint of summer. \u00a0We first came to see our farm a year ago. \u00a0There was a distinct smell that I have locked away in my memory that has recently come out. \u00a0We were working so hard, and for so long, to find our farm. \u00a0You can ask our realtor &#8211; some people have a few month experience finding their home. \u00a0We kept our realtor busy for at least 18 months. \u00a0She was the best!
