Keep A Master Shopping List:<\/span>\u00a0 Most of us probably buy a lot of the same items month after month.\u00a0 To save yourself the time of making a list every single time you shop, consider keeping a master list.\u00a0 It’s a list you prepare, organized by category, that lists the items you most commonly purchase.\u00a0 If you wanted to, you could also include the current price you normally pay so if you notice an item on sale you can quickly glance down to see if it’s a good deal for you or not.\u00a0 Make this list on your computer so you can easily edit it and print a new copy out each month.\u00a0 You can also find free templates online to help you get started.<\/p>\n

I know it can be easy to fall into the thought process of, “I will remember it!” and I have my list down to a science too.\u00a0 I know what I need to buy each month – but it really,\u00a0really<\/em>, throws me off when a store re-organizes and moves their store around.\u00a0 Then I feel so unprepared – having my list helps me regroup so I remember all of my usual items as I get to learn the new layout.<\/p>\n

Not only does this list save you the time of recreating your list month after month (or however often you grocery shop), but it can save you extra trips to the store for forgetting items that should have been on the list.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
