{"id":1008,"date":"2015-05-11T05:30:26","date_gmt":"2015-05-11T05:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.k7farm.com\/blog\/?p=1008"},"modified":"2016-12-23T04:39:23","modified_gmt":"2016-12-23T04:39:23","slug":"coney-sauce-for-hot-dogs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.k7farm.com\/blog\/?p=1008","title":{"rendered":"Coney Sauce for Hot Dogs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was able to replicate my husbands favorite coney sauce. \u00a0This was pretty awesome because he hasn&#8217;t been able to find anything close to the taste he kept craving &#8211; which is about two hours away.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 lb ground beef, browned<\/li>\n<li>1\/2c onion, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1-1\/2 c<a title=\"Ketchup\" href=\"http:\/\/www.k7farm.com\/blog\/?p=337\"> ketchup<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1\/4c sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/4c vinegar<\/li>\n<li>1\/4c prepared mustard<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 ts celery powder<\/li>\n<li>1ts Worcestershire sauce<\/li>\n<li>3\/4ts salt<\/li>\n<li>Hot dogs and buns<\/li>\n<li>Additional chopped onion, shredded cheese, and whatever else you might like to top your dogs with.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Combine all and let simmer about 2o minutes, longer is fine too. \u00a0You could throw all of this in the crockpot as well. \u00a0Spoon it over a hot dog in a bun. \u00a0Top with shredded cheddar and\/or chopped onion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was able to replicate my husbands favorite coney sauce.
